New Design Studio

Here's a picture of my new Design Studio in progress.
I had it painted with Martha Stewart-Calabash for
the green and Glidden-Haystack for the yellow.

It looks AMAZING! With the exception of everything
scattered all over the place.

We moved all of our furniture, belongings
and all of my scrapping supplies over to the house
yesterday and didn't finish with the big stuff until
almost 10 PM last night.  Still more moving today:(

I need to get some additional goodies and shelving to set
everything up.

I will post another picture as progress is made!

This is going to be so much fun!

My New Design Studio :)

Here are pictures of what will
soon be my new Design Studio...
(That's what I'm calling it...it sounds so chic...hehe!)

That is if we ever close on this house!

We are three weeks behind on closing
and I'm now counting the days until we
finally get our keys and start moving in.
Once we get in, it will be just a little
while before I can get everything unpacked
and set up.  My goal is no later than
September 1st.

From the staricase looking in.

End with staircase looking at closet.

From the closet looking at other end of room.
The plan is to remove this window
and put in a French door.

Same end with closet looking at staircase.
(I still need to paint the railing)

Once I get everything all set up I'll post more pictures.

Who knows maybe I'll get really crazy and
do my very first video!

Please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!
It looks like we close on Tuesday or Wednesday
this next week:)

Hope you like it!

Halloween Candy Pale

I made this little Halloween candy pale for a
challenge a couple of months ago.
I don't have any children so I'ts probably not as
kid friendly as many of you could design it.
Anyway, I thougt it would be cute to make for a
child to carry on Halloween to collect
all of their goodies in:)

I will use mine to fill with the candy I pass out to
the little goblins at my front door.  BOO!

Hope you like it:)

Let me know what you think...

I just heard there are 3 new
seasonal cartridges being released.

Marianne Smith my Buckeye FB Friend
gave me a link to these AWESOME pics.
Here they are!  I can't wait.  Looks like they will
start shipping about the middle of September.

I read somewhere they will be $24.99.
Don't quote me on this.
It's all the information I have gathered
while searching for details.

I will have to own them for sure!

Retirement Card

This is my card that I made for my
Cricut Class Instructor Bonnie.

She retired from her regular job so one of the
girls thought it would be nice if we each made her a
handmade card and presented
it to her at the next class as a surprise.

We did and she LOVED it!

Front

Side

Inside

Latte

Sentiment

Embellishment

Recipe:

This card is a standard 5 ½" X 4 ¼".
The inside and outside Polka Dot
background is 5 ¼ " X 4".
I used my Cuttlebug and the dots
embossing folder to emboss the front
of the card. The cartridges used were
Christmas Cheer for the Mug cut at 3",
and Lacy Labels (Lite) for the 3 scallop
cut outs cut at 3", 3 1/2" and 4".
I printed the sentiment off of my
computer onto a piece of my
yellow 8 ½” X 11” cardstock
and cut the front tag at 1 ¼" X 3 ¼".
The inside tag was done the same
way at 3 ½" X 1". Finally I finished off the
card with Bonnie’s favorite product, “STICKLES”
and a pretty bow embellishment.

All of the cards were a success!
