Here is my Entry...

Apple

"Inch Worm"

Tag

Recipe

This card is 5 ½" X 4 ¼". The Plaid background is 5 ¼ " X 4".
The cream colored lattice is 2 ½” X 5 ¼” and punched with
a deep cut Martha Stewart punch. (Can’t recall the name)
The Cartridges I used were “Just Because” Cards for the
apple cut at 7”(“JBC” is a tricky cartridge to use).
I ran the leaves of the apple through my Cuttlebug using
the D’vine Swirl embossing folder.
The snakes were cut from the B is for Boy
Cricut Lite cartridge at 1” which technically
qualified them to be “inch worms” instead
of snakes. I printed the sentiment off of my computer onto
the center of my yellow 8 ½” X 11” cardstock. I then used
center point on my Cricut machine and cut my tag at 1” also
from the B is for Boy Lite cartridge.
I used a Martha Stewart red ink pad to go around
the edges of the tag.
Finally, I finished it off with some ribbon and a pretty bow.

ENJOY!

Recipe:
This card is 5 1/2" X 4 1/4". The Black and Polka
Dot backgrounds are both cut at
5 ¼ " X 4" and then the Polka Dot was cut in
half diagonally. I cut the Polka Dot slightly smaller
to offset it from the solid black.
I placed my Leather and Silver ribbon across the diagonal.
The inside Grey is 3 ¾” X 5 ¼” with an angled
cut piece of silver paper which I ran through my Cuttlebug
using the Diamond Plate embossing folder.

The Cartridge I used for the Chick is Create a Critter cut at
3 ½” and the Guitar was made from Indie Art cut at 2 ¾”.
The tag was run through my Cuttlebug using the
Diamond Plate embossing folder and punched
out of a 2” scalloped Fiskars punch.

I then stamped “Chicks Rock!” on the tag using my new
My Pink Stamper Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set
and embossed it with black embossing powder.

Finally, I finished it off with a pretty flower and brad.

ENJOY!

The Theme for this Challenge is "Animal". We were supposed to use the cartridge Zooballoo but I don't have that one.  If we don't have the cartridge we are allowed to use what we have as long as it stays within the theme.

"Cricut Me That" Challenge

This is my entry for the "Cricut Me That" July Challenge.  The theme is "Summer Fruits".
We are to use fruits we find in the summertime.
This challenge can be interpreted any way we would like.
It's true that Oranges are best in the Winter.
But, I eat them all year round including the Summer.
So... I interpret them to be a Summer fruit.

Hope you enjoy!

PKS Challenge 31 - Sketch

This is my entry for the
Peachy Keen Stamps Sketch Challenge.
We are supposed to create a card, a page or whatever we want based on this Layout...

Here is my Entry

Horse

Stars

Recipe:

The cartridges used were Old West for the Barbecure sign cut with my Gypsy at 2 1/4" X 3/4" with the hide contour feature selected to block out the word "Barbecue", Create a Critter for the Horse cut at 2 1/2" and the Stars cut at 3/4", and Independence day to cut the Circular Flag which is the circle behind the horse.  I cut the outside of the circle with my Gypsy and the hide contour feature selected at 3 1/4" then I cut the inside of the circle at 5".  I know, it sounds weird but I wanted the center to be larger than the normal center size.
I used 100% Jute string for the bow, a couple of google eyes, Denim and Wood grain paper from Joanne's and my Howdy Partner stamp from my Joy's Life "Lot's of Pun" stamp set.

Thanks for looking!
